Counting Down...

We only have four days of school this week, and we're making them all count!

1.  We planted seeds in Science two weeks ago. Our plants are nice and strong; and ready to come home. Plants will be coming home Wednesday or Thursday. If you want to stop in and pick it up, just let me know.

2.  We have Gym tomorrow instead of Thursday so we'll need gym shoes tomorrow and Wednesday, but not on Thursday.

3.  Our good Lenten deed for today is to help our parents clean up after dinner - yay!!!

4.  There is no spelling test or math test this week. I told everyone I want our focus to be on Holy Week - remembering what events happened this week and the events leading up to Easter Sunday. We read a book today about the Easter miracle.

5.  We are starting new, more difficult lessons in Math this week. We're learning how to multiply by 1 and by 100, and we're also learning how to find the perimeter of a shape. We'll start learning these lessons this week, and we'll review them when we come back from Easter break.

6. In Writing, we are telling about our Easter break plans this week. I'm hearing some great plans - they are excited to put them on paper!

As always, please let me know if you have any questions. Have a great Monday!
